Drywall Repair and Painting in Southwest Florida

Representative photo

A drywall patch that doesn’t match the surrounding texture and sheen is easy to spot from across the room. As part of getting a wall ready for paint, we patch small holes, nail pops and cracks, then blend the texture and paint so the repair disappears instead of standing out.

If you have larger damage, like a water-stained ceiling or a section that needs replacing, describe it in your estimate request and we’ll tell you whether it’s part of the job.

What’s included

  • Small holes, dents and nail pops
  • Water-damage repair (after the moisture source is fixed)
  • Cracks along seams and corners
  • Texture matching (smooth, orange peel, knockdown)
  • Paint touch-up or full repaint of the affected room

Our process

  1. 1

    Damage assessment

We confirm the cause (impact damage, settling, moisture) since water damage needs the source fixed before repair, not just the patch.

  2. 2

    Cut and repair

Loose or damaged material is cut back to a solid edge and patched with the right compound for the size of the repair.

  3. 3

    Texture match

Existing texture is matched (smooth, orange peel, knockdown) so the repair blends into the surrounding wall or ceiling.

  4. 4

    Prime the patch

Drywall compound is porous and flashes through paint if it isn’t primed first.

  5. 5

    Paint to match

Touch-up on the repaired area or a full repaint of the room, matched to the existing color so the repair disappears into the wall.

Materials

Standard and setting-type drywall compounds matched to repair size, texture sprayers/tools for pattern matching, and stain-blocking primer for water-damaged areas.
